1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account: your name, email address, phone number, and preferred language. We also collect task data, messages, and household information you enter into the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to provide the TidyHome service: managing tasks, translating content between languages, delivering notifications, and enabling communication between household members. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Translation Services

Task descriptions, messages, and other content are sent to Google Cloud Translation API for translation. This data is processed server-side and is not stored by Google beyond what is needed to perform the translation.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (built on PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies that isolate each household's data. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.

5. Data Isolation

Each household's data is strictly isolated. Employers can only see their own household's tasks and workers. Workers can only see tasks assigned to them and messages within their household.

6. Push Notifications

We use Expo Push Notifications to deliver task updates and messages. You can disable notifications in your device settings at any time.

7. Analytics

We may use anonymized analytics (PostHog) to understand how the app is used and improve the experience. Error reporting (Sentry) helps us fix bugs. Both services are key-gated and only active when configured.

8. Your Rights

You can request to view, export, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us. Deleting your account will remove all your personal information from our systems.
